Luna - Cover Base #32, 13ml / 30ml

Cover Base #32 is a camouflage base for covering and leveling nails, in 13 ml and 30 ml. The manufacturer’s page cites high pigmentation, which gives a high level of coverage of the natural nail, and describes the formula as elastic and flexible.

Handling

Medium and thixotropic: the base thins out as the brush moves, can be warmed to make it thinner, does not run and, according to the page, self-levels very quickly.

Cure Times

The underlayer of a rubber or fix base is cured for 60 seconds, the leveling layer for 90 seconds and the top coat for 120 seconds. The page asks for an original lamp rated 36-48 W.

Mind the Limits

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement
• Needs an underlayer of a rubber or fix base, with its sticky layer kept
• Leveling thickness at the free edge: about 0.5 mm
• The top coat is left unwiped after curing, since wiping can dull the shine
