LUNA - Cover Base #28, 13ml / 30ml

About LUNA - Cover Base #28, 13ml / 30ml

Cover Base #28 is a classic camouflage base for covering and leveling nails, in 13 ml and 30 ml. The manufacturer’s page describes it as highly pigmented, giving a high level of coverage of the natural nail, in an elastic and flexible formula with a neutral smell.

What You Need to Work with It

• An underlayer of a rubber base (a fix base is listed as an option too)
• A degreaser, for two passes over the nail
• An original lamp rated 36-48 W
• A top coat, cured for 120 seconds
• A primer, only if the underlayer is not acidic enough

Working Notes

The consistency is medium and thixotropic: it thins out as the brush moves, does not run and self-levels quickly, and it can be warmed to make it thinner. Cure the underlayer for 60 seconds and keep its sticky layer. Level to 0.5 mm at the free edge and cure for 90 seconds. Then file the shape, wipe off the sticky layer and apply the top coat without wiping it afterwards.
