About LUNA - Cover Base #10, 13ml / 30ml

Cover Base #10 is a classic camouflage base for covering and leveling nails, in 13 ml and 30 ml. The manufacturer’s page describes a highly pigmented, elastic and flexible formula with a high level of coverage of the natural nail.

Before You Start

• Remove old product, and shape the nail or leave about 2 mm of length to trim after leveling
• Buff with a 220-grit file or a 100-grit buffer, then do the manicure
• Degrease in two passes, with the second around the cuticle and sidewalls
• Use a primer only if the underlayer is not acidic enough
• Apply a thin underlayer of a rubber or fix base, rub it in with a flat brush, cure for 60 seconds and leave the sticky layer

While You Level

The medium, thixotropic consistency thins out as the brush moves, does not run and self-levels quickly. It can be warmed to make it thinner. The page gives a rule of 0.5 mm of thickness at the free edge, and cure time of 90 seconds.

After Leveling

File the shape so the free edge has enough thickness, wipe off the sticky layer, apply the top coat and cure for 120 seconds, without wiping afterwards.
