How the Effect Is Made

1. Buff the whole nail surface and apply a base coat, then cure it.
2. Brush on the cat’s eye gel polish and wrap the free edge of the nail.
3. Hold a cat eye magnet about 2 mm from the nail for about 2 seconds, until the line forms.
4. Cure right away, for about 2 minutes. If you wait, the line slowly fades.
5. If the line is weak, brush the gel again, magnetize again and cure.
6. Seal with a top coat, wrapping the free edge for better wear.

The direction of the line follows the magnet: a vertical pull gives a vertical line, a horizontal pull a horizontal one, and a diagonal pull a diagonal one.
