Fast Gel #0011 Oxford — Smoky Lilac
A translucent smoky lilac, the shade that reads differently depending on the light it catches — sometimes leaning cooler, sometimes softer, without ever tipping into a bold or saturated purple. Part of the same Oxford collection as #0010, but built around a completely different color character: this one carries genuine dimension rather than staying flat.
Density and Feel
Semi-transparent, medium consistency — thin enough for controlled thin-layer work near the cuticle, thick enough to hold its shape once cured. Pigmentation shifts with layer thickness, so a single thin coat reads noticeably softer than a built-up double layer.
What It's Suited For
- Solo nude-toned manicures for office or bridal looks
- A soft camouflage base under French tips
- Baby boomer and gradient work paired with milkier tones from the same collection
- Minimalist designs — fine linework, pearl rub-on effects, slider decals
- Regrowth correction while keeping the overall palette calm and cohesive
Getting It On the Nail
- Remove old coating, shape the nail, buff away shine, complete standard prep
- Apply Dehydrator, then Ultrabond for extra adhesion
- Cover the nail plate with a base such as Multi Base or Fiber Base, cure 30/60 sec under a 48/36W LED/UV lamp
- For extensions, set a paper or upper form
- Apply Fast Gel #0011 as a leveling layer, keeping material off the skin
- Cure 90/180 seconds under LED/UV
- If extending, remove the form, refine the architecture, cure again 90/180 seconds
- Clear residual tack with Nail Prep & Cleanser 3in1
- File, apply a top coat, cure 120/180 seconds
Storage
Keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight, between +15°C and +23°C. Shelf life: 24 months.
Part of DNKa's Fast Gel range, distinct from the DNKa Cover Base camouflage line.
FAQ
Should I test this shade before using it on a client?
Yes — it's worth checking how the gel behaves under your specific lamp, including set time and cure speed, before working live.
What kind of top coat works best over smoky lilac?
A top coat with UV filters is commonly used with lighter shades like this one, to help keep the color reading true rather than shifting over time.
Can I do a correction without a full soak-off?
Yes, as long as the existing coating has no lifting and the surface is properly prepped before the new layer goes on.
