Luna Opal Base #3 is a decorative camouflage base designed to create a delicate manicure with a soft opal shimmer. The formula contains fine reflective particles that produce a gentle iridescent glow, giving nails an elegant and luminous appearance. This base provides both aesthetic beauty and functional strength, making it suitable for professional gel manicure systems.

With its highly pigmented camouflage shade, Opal Base #3 effectively conceals natural nail imperfections and uneven coloration. The elastic and flexible structure of the base allows the coating to adapt to the natural nail, ensuring comfortable wear for up to 3–4 weeks without lifting when applied correctly.

Important: Not recommended for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement. The recommended leveling thickness is approximately 0.5 mm.

Application Method

1. Remove the previous coating. Do not immediately file the nail shape; leave approximately 2 mm extra length to adjust after leveling.

2. Lightly buff the nail surface using a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer.

3. Perform manicure preparation. If removers were used, wash hands with soap and water.

4. Degrease nails using Nail Prep LUNAmoon with two cleaning passes. Use 4 wipes total (one wipe per 5 fingers). Clean the cuticle and sidewalls using an orangewood stick wrapped in a wipe.

5. Apply a thin Rubber Base underlay with rubbing movements using a flat gel brush. Cure for 60 seconds.

6. Remove the sticky layer.

7. Apply Opal Base #3 for leveling and architecture. Cure in a lamp for 90 seconds.

8. Remove dust and check the free edge thickness. If nails are thin, file about 1 mm from the center of the natural nail to prevent curling.

9. Remove stickiness again and apply gel polish or an additional thin camouflage base layer if desired.

10. Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve shine.

Lamp requirement: UV/LED lamp 36–48 W (professional lamp recommended).

Storage

• Shelf life: 24 months

• After opening: use within 18 months
